About Us
Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy is an interdemoninational Christian ministry that seeks to support the welfare of everyone working, living and relaxing in Belfast City Centre. Our trained Chaplains do not preach, but with sensitivity provide supportive services.
Our Lead Chaplain is the Reverend Andrew Irvine. Andrew is a Minister in The Methodist Church in Ireland and is based in Belfast Central Mission, Glengall Street, Belfast.
Our mission is to is to be the body of Christ, tangible and present, among people in Belfast City Centre. Our Chaplains dedicate themselves to an ongoing presence in specific places within the City Centre, building long-term, non-judgmental, listening, relationships in these places.

As Christians we believe that God made human beings in his image and therefore every human being is invaluable. We further believe that God loves everyone equally, irrespective of their beliefs or their personal history. We therefore provide services to everyone equally with love and without judgement.
Below are a few of the services we provide to the people of Belfast City Centre on a day-to-day basis aswell as session based services.

As a charity, we are not-for-profit and operate on a volunteering basis. When donating through Gift Aid, we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give at no extra cost to yourself.
Your donation will help us recruit, train and send more chaplains into the areas of the city where there is the greatest need. It will also help us set up a Hub where people can come to confidentially ‘speak to a chaplain'.
